BOQ2RFQ is designed for QS, procurement, estimators, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers working with construction and procurement requirements.
How to use BOQ2RFQ
- Open a webpage containing a BOQ or procurement requirement.
- Highlight one requirement line.
- Right-click and choose Extract with BOQ2RFQ.
- Review the detected category, scope, quantity, unit and specifications.
- Review the “Information to confirm” checklist.
- Copy the RFQ text or add the item to the local batch.
- Export the batch as CSV when needed.
Common questions
Does BOQ2RFQ upload my BOQ?
No. Version 1.0 performs extraction locally and does not send selected BOQ text to a server or AI provider.
Can it read an entire tender PDF?
Not in version 1.0. The initial release is intentionally focused on selected text and individual requirements. This reduces errors and keeps permissions simple.
Why did it miss a quantity or specification?
Construction descriptions vary heavily. You can edit the cleaned description and should verify all extracted information against the original contract documents before issuing an RFQ.
How do I erase saved items?
Use Clear in the local batch area, clear extension storage from Chrome, or uninstall the extension.
What should I include in a bug report?
Please include the BOQ text you are permitted to share, the expected result, the result BOQ2RFQ produced, Chrome version, and BOQ2RFQ version. Do not send confidential client information unless you are authorized to do so.
