Privacy Policy
1. Who operates BOQ2RFQ?
BOQ2RFQ is published and supported by Kisan RoadTech Trading & Contracting. This policy applies to the BOQ2RFQ Chrome extension and its support pages.
2. What information does the extension process?
When you explicitly highlight text on a webpage and choose Extract with BOQ2RFQ, the extension processes that selected text to identify information such as description, category, quantity, unit, scope and common technical details. The current page URL may be stored locally with a saved batch item so you can remember the source.
3. What information is collected or transmitted?
Version 1.0 does not send selected text, page URLs, saved items, browsing history, form data or personal information to Kisan RoadTech, analytics providers, advertisers, AI providers or other third parties. BOQ analysis is performed locally inside the extension.
The extension does not contain advertising, tracking pixels, analytics SDKs or remote AI/API calls.
4. Local storage
BOQ2RFQ uses Chrome local extension storage to keep the most recently selected text and any items you deliberately add to your local batch. This information remains on your device. You can clear the input, clear the batch, remove extension data through Chrome, or uninstall the extension.
5. Chrome permissions
- contextMenus: adds the “Extract with BOQ2RFQ” command when you select text.
- storage: saves the latest selection and optional batch locally on your device.
- sidePanel: displays the BOQ2RFQ interface beside the current webpage.
6. External links
Privacy and support links are opened only when you click them. Visiting kisanroadtech.com is then governed by the website's normal server and hosting logs. The extension itself does not silently send BOQ content to the website.
7. Data sharing and advertising
BOQ2RFQ does not sell user data and does not use extension data for personalized advertising, creditworthiness, lending, or unrelated profiling.
8. Chrome Web Store Limited Use
BOQ2RFQ's use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data accessed through extension functionality is used only to provide the user-facing BOQ-to-RFQ workflow.
9. Security
The local-only architecture reduces transmission risk because the extension does not require a backend service or API key for BOQ extraction in version 1.0. Users should still avoid selecting confidential information that they are not authorized to process.
10. Changes to this policy
If a future version adds cloud sync, AI processing, accounts, analytics or other data handling, this privacy policy and the Chrome Web Store privacy disclosures must be updated before those features are released.
